Custom Cushions

Elegant Upholstery & Slipcovers is a great place to have new custom cushion covers and foam cushion inserts custom made. We offer new custom bench cushions and new custom window-seat cushions. We make replacement cushions and cushion covers and new foam inserts for your sofas, chairs, and outdoor cushions for your patio. We also make replacement cushions for RVs and boats. If your cushions are old and worn out and you need replacement cushions made or if you just want to revamp their appearance with a different fabric just bring your old cushions by our shop or schedule a pick-up. We can copy any cushion cover and its insert.

New custom window-seat cushions that are custom made by Elegant Upholstery & Slipcovers can make your window seat both comfortable and stylish. It will give you additional seating for large gatherings. We will go to your home to take measurements to ensure a perfect fit. We will make a template of the window seat if necessary. We also offer new custom bench cushions.

It is standard practice to double wrap the new foam core of the cushion insert with Dakron. This gives the cushion additional padding and makes it a bit more comfortable than just foam alone. We also can sandwich the foam core of the insert with a 1" thick layer of memory foam or gel foam on the top and bottom. I recommend this only on the window-seat cushions or bench cushions.

Cushions typically will be anywhere from 2" to 8" thick. We use commercial-grade foam that is 'fire safe' and can be legally used in hotels. We offer several different densities of indoor foam. We also offer outdoor foam.

We have a large selection of fabric that is machine washable. We offer fade-resistant 100% solution dyed acrylic outdoor fabric such as Sunbrella or Outdura for outdoor cushions. Each new cushion cover that we make will come with a new zipper to enable the cover to be easily removed for washing. We use new materials every time.
